Bleep! Bleep! Bleep!

Bleep! Bleep! Bleep!

It's time to get up, it's time to run, it's time to get out of bed.

Bleep! Bleep! Bleep!

Who set that alarm? I just want to go back to sleep.

Six thirty, it's dark, it's cold, I'm tired

I ran last night do I need to go out again?

It's meant to be six miles, maybe I could just do four

I really don't think my legs, my body or my mind could do any more.

Get up, pull on my kit, lace up my trainers and wait....

..... locating satellites, even they seem to be still in bed.

..... locating satellites, oh come on, how long does it take?

.. Satellites found, I'm on my way, one step at a time, slowly wearing away my trainer tread.

On to the cycle path, just four easy miles, that's all I'll do

But now I'm out I might as well do my planned six

If I don't do the six now, I'll need to do the extra two

Tonight's six now an eight, means I don't finish until late

Six miles done, feeling better about it now it's done

Enjoy my breakfast, get ready for work and then

Then it starts again, another six tonight could just do four

But I know what I'll do, I'll add on a couple more.
