Went to club tonight without thinking too much about what pace to run at. At the back of my mind I thought I would just do a marathon paced run (6:40min/mi - 6:50min/mi) but ended up knocking out 10.03 miles in 1h 04mins at an avg pace of 6:27min/mi! Felt great, the new diet I have been following is really helping me. Plenty energy for my runs and just feel strong all the way through.
This was the first run with my new Saucony Guide 5's. I have 2 pairs of these shoes but my previous pair are electric blue, the version I now have are Orange. Note to self, must find a way to add an image to these blog posts!!
I think I will run Loch Ness marathon in my blue version just because I have done more miles in them, but the orange version are bright
