Why do we run?
The reasons people take up running are many, some do it to get fit, some people have always ran but now want to get faster, run further, raise money for charity. There are so many reason but a new one was brought to my attention via my twitter feed the other day (@scottishrunner).
How about running to create art?
That is exactly what Made with Sisu do. If you use Strava or RunKeeper then all you do is, give the website permission to view all your activities and let it do it's thing. Just now there is only the one design available but I've been informed that new designs are on their way.
With Christmas just around the corner, this could be a really good present for the runner in your life.
The artwork is printed on to a high quality A3 poster and when setting it up you can pick what dates you want to display.
Below is an example of all my runs from the 1st January until last night, you can spot the track sessions a mile away! But I have also created a poster which just shows Edinburgh marathon on it.
I think this is a great idea and plan on ordering a poster at the end of the year so that I can see all my 2014 runs in one place in my study.
I'm also going to try and get a bit more creative over the coming weeks to see what routes I can map, maybe even try and spell something out of different runs!
What would your artwork look like? Go to Made with Sisu , make your artwork and share it on Twitter. Remember to hashtag it with #rbm
